Insulated board system to a cold external wall

Customer concern: Persistent surface mould on a cold solid external wall.
Findings: Investigation confirmed the wall surface was cold enough to drive persistent surface condensation and mould, rather than a defect letting water in.
Remedial works: Insulated boards were fitted from a scaffold after the cause was confirmed, warming the wall surface rather than simply redecorating over the growth.
Outcome: A warmer internal surface that no longer favours the condensation and mould previously seen.
